1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MZBoostLab platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including researchers, institutional administrators, and any other individuals or entities who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MZBoostLab provides a cloud-based bioinformatics analysis platform for proteomics research, including but not limited to:

• Protein identification in cell or tissue extracts
• Comparative proteomics
• Postranslational modification studies
• Functional network analysis and visualization
• Biological pathway mapping and analysis (KEGG, Reactome, BioCyc)
• Gene Ontology and functional enrichment analysis with multiple testing correction

3. Service access

To access our Service, you must contact us and supply information on the biological system under study by your group. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of our work.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You should not:

• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the platform infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, other user accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service
• Redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit any computational results or derived data without appropriate attribution and compliance with applicable data use agreements
• Upload or transmit any data that infringes upon intellectual property rights or contains malicious software

5. Data and Intellectual Property

You retain all ownership rights to the data you upload to the Service (“User Data”). By uploading User Data, you grant MZBoostLab a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and analyze such data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

All proprietary algorithms, software, documentation, and platform infrastructure constitute the intellectual property of MZBoostLab and its licensors. No rights in such intellectual property are transferred to you except as expressly stated in these Terms.

6. Research Use and Citation

If you use results obtained through the Service in any publication, presentation, or report, you agree to cite MZBoostLab. Proper attribution supports the continued development and availability of the platform for the scientific community.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. MZBoostLab should not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service. Computational results are provided for research purposes and should be validated independently before clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic application.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request an export of your User Data within 30 days of termination, after which it may be permanently deleted.

9. Governing Law

These Terms should be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MZBoostLab is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms should be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the applicable rules of the governing jurisdiction.

10. Changes to Terms

MZBoostLab reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the platform dashboard or email notification at least 30 days prior to taking effect. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
